Multidrug resistant tuberculosis in Europe

closed

The TBnet consortium implemented a work package on the clinical management of multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in Europe, as part of the larger TBPANNET project. TBnet established a clinical cohort in which 23 health facilities from 16 European countries participated. The project reported on the prevalence of MDR-TB, routine practise related to drug sensitivity testing, treatment strategies, and treatment outcomes.
